SMOKE EXHAUST SYSTEM
The exhaust fumes from diesel generators are a colorless toxic gas. They can cause difficulty breathing, dizziness and death if they accumulate in a room. Therefore, there must always be a solution to lead the exhaust fumes outdoors and even have to be raised high to disperse widely if installed in a densely populated area.
The additional chimney must be connected to the generator with a flexible steel pipe that allows the vibrations from the generator to be suppressed.
The exhaust pipe is selected for its inner diameter to match the capacity of the machine. In addition, the exhaust pipe material can be selected from regular steel or anti-rust steel depending on the installation needs and the chimney's lifespan.
COOLING SYSTEM
The machine room must have a cool air intake. The cool air ventilation area must not be smaller than the total area of the cool air intake of the generator. The cool air intake can be soundproofed by a wall.
The machine room must have a hot air exhaust. The hot air exhaust area must not be smaller than the hot air exhaust area of the generator. Or it must be grounded to the generator exhaust by a closed heat pipe to ensure that hot air cannot return to the machine room.
The cool air intake and hot air intake must be arranged far apart at two opposite ends of the machine room to ensure that hot air is not sucked back into the machine room.
If the installation conditions do not satisfy the above requirements, it is possible to install additional forced air fans and reduce the allowable capacity of the generator.
There must be a few small ventilation slots on the wall near the ceiling to release the hot air accumulated in the machine room.
The size of the machine room must be enough to open the doors and create a well-ventilated space for future machine repair and maintenance.
MACHINE FOUNDATION
Normally, the generator does not require foundation bolts. Except in cases where there are special regulations. The machine is placed on a technical rubber sheet or on a rafters to prevent vibration.
The concrete foundation mass, in addition to supporting the weight of the machine, must also be large enough to absorb vibrations. We recommend that the concrete foundation mass of the machine be 1.5 - 2 times the mass of the machine.
GROUNDING SYSTEM
The generator is grounded when in use to ensure electrical safety.
The size of the grounding device must be sufficient for the instantaneous leakage current to be 2-3 times the maximum current of the machine.
SUN SHIELD
If the generator is placed outdoors, it must be covered to avoid direct sunlight damage. Use a cover or canopy to ensure performance and longevity.
